(My note. Previously named SS Imo, the picture shows her aground after the Halifax explosion. She was repaired, and re-named Guvernoren. Went aground on rocks two miles off Cape Carysfort. No crew were lost. Salvage attempts were halted on 3 December and the ship was abandoned to the sea.)

3000FENNIAChristiansenFinnisFennia in Stanley Harbour.Steel 4 masted barque ex "Champigny" built 1901 at Nantes loaded with coal and patent fuel bound for Calloa. In heavy sea off Cape Horn had lost main and mizzen topmasts crew of about 30 cadets condemned and bought by F.I.C. as hulk.
1930THISTLEF. Is.Cutter ex "Great Britain's" boat lost under tow.
1936BELLEVILLEF. Is.3 mast steel schooner ex "Tweeanb" owned by sealing company parted tow rope and wrecked in Flores Harbour.

PORT RICHARDF. Is.Ex "afterglow", steam drifter, blt. for service in '14-'18 war. Arr. for seal protection in 1922. Sold to sealing comp. Requisitioned by Royal Navy 1940, badly damaged in Reef Channel, laid up in Stanley Hbr. Finally dragged ashore in a gale.

Sch. or Brigantine remains to be seen at Saunders Is. May be sealer as quantity of small bricks among ruins.
As above but at Fox Bay.
Unknown vessel wrecked in 1850 on West Pt. Is. near the wreck of the Waldren.
Unidentified wreckage on West Is. near Fox Bay, could be from vessel on Elephant Cays or in Ruggles Bay.
Unidentfied wreckage reported to have been found in a gulch on N. side of King George Bay.
